NOCG programme until Christmas
The NOCG is now closed as it carries out its seasonal change and staff training. We will be re-opening for business on the 3rd December and then starting our main winter programme from the 7th January 2012.
Winter allocation of places at NOCG
Once again this winter we have been heavily oversubscribed with bookings and as such given priority to frontline units. We are currently waiting for units to confirm their allocations which will need to happen by the 5th of December. After that the intention is to re-allocate any spare places with the priority going to those unsuccessful in their bookings the first time around. Successful applicants are asked to give participation their highest priority in order to reduce the number of last minute cancelations and subsequent waste of places. We do have an extensive reserve list but in order to successfully activate it, sufficient time needs to be given of any cancellations. For Information regarding bookings please contact LWTR Susie Cavanagh on 00498324973415 or email her via the contact details which can be found on our website (www.nocg.co.uk).
Double-Marathon
Can I take this opportunity to thank all those who sponsored me for the Berlin Marathon. I completed the inline marathon on Saturday evening in 1 hour 41 minutes and then completed the 26 mile run on Sunday morning with a time of 4 hours and 2 minutes. I celebrated with a couple of beers and numerous large pasta dishes. In total I raised just over £400 for the RN and RM charity.
Thanks again

Support the RN&RM charity
Sponsor Paul Gellender (a.k.a. The Boss) to complete
2 Marathons on consecutive days for the
RN&RM charity!
Paul Gellender's aim is to raise money for this worthy charity by completing 2 marathons ,back to back, over 2 days. On saturday 24 september he will complete the Berlin Inline Skating Marathon (dont worry, there won't be any lycra!) and then on sunday 25 september he will run the Berlin Marathon. In return he asks that you sponsor him with 5 euros and all proceeds will go to the RN&RM charity.
You can follow him through his training and see his results by following him on this blog or go to http://www.nocg.co.uk/
Thankyou in advance for your sponsorship!
